International Relations Career Challenge: What is it like working at the United Nations?
Do you want to explore what is it like working at the United Nations? And, more important, how to get a job in one of the greatest international organisations worldwide? Welcome to the International Relations Career Challenge (IRCC) – a five days training course which aims to provide young professionals guidance and individual coaching in regards to career development, including professional role selection, job search strategy, application filling, profile presentation, interview performance and networking. The detailed agenda can be accessed on this page:
The IRCC is not an academic course – instead, participants gain genuine hands-on experience of working on real developmental assignments and participate with discussions with the speakers, who are experienced professionals with vast experience of working at the United Nations and other international organisations worldwide. They advise young professionals on opportunities and challenges they may face while working on projects and share recommendations on how to start a career in the United Nations. The list of speakers is available on this page:
The program is held in different locations worldwide. The next intake is scheduled for November 6-10, 2017 at Johns Hopkins University, Washington, DC, United States. You can submit an application to participate in the IRCC on this page:
